The taxi driver with a gunman in his taxi.

This taxi driver from Australia over here on holidays,in Brighton,was telling me he picked up this guy,he told him where to go,so off he drove.Next thing the guy puts a gun next to his chest & said pull over,hand over your cash.The driver said it was lucky they were travelling about 50 miles per hour,he said it was not safe to pull over to the edge of the road,he would find a safer spot.In the meantime,he was accelerating faster & faster,he was now travelling about 70 miles an hour,the guy with the gun was screaming to stop the car or he would shoot him dead.The taxi driver said shoot me & we both get killed at this speed.The car went round the next corner with tyres screaching,as he drove into the main Police station,with the car horn beeping like mad.The gunman was in a right old panic,he threw the gun out of the taxi window,as it came to a sudden stop & four coppers ,who had been by the front door of the station,came running over to see what all the noise was about.The gun hit the ground & a bullet shot through the left hand rear glass & out through the roof.The coppers pulled the gunman out of the car & handcuffed him,then took him into the police station.The taxi driver said he was sure his hair turned greyer,he had a few days off work & was then back into working nights again.
